What are the symptoms of a cataract?

Because a cataract can form slowly over a long period of time, you may have one without realising it. If you, or someone you know, experiences one or more of the symptoms below, it might be due to a cataract.

Talk to your eye care professional if you experience any of the following symptoms:1

Cloud vision
Cloudy vision
Light
Halos around lights
Light sensitivity

Seeing faded colours
